After a user completes the Online Form they will be sent a text message which you can customize. The initial Text Message should highlight your text program and offer incentives to show the benefits of joining the program.
Compliance Message
Select Double opt-in or single opt-in. Double opt-in means a user needs to respond with "YES" to continue receiving texts from merchant. Another thing to consider is adding message frequency in the initial message to be transparent about how many messages per month/week your subscriber should expect to receive from you. This helps conversion and engagement rates as subscribers are now expecting the marketing texts.
Age Gate
Optional, Require a minimum age for users to receive your texts. The instructions "Reply with your birthdate in the MM/DD/YYYY format." will be added automatically to the end of your message. These are good for alcohol and tobacco merchants.
Post Enrollment Actions
- Enroll the new subscriber in message flows, like a Welcome Flow if you've already created this in the Automation > Message Flow section.
- Send automated text-to-buy campaigns immediately after users join the list.
- Send an Automated Quick Cart.
